Within a matter of hours following Hurricane Helene, UNC Health used AgileMD clinical pathways to address a large-scale IV fluid shortage while ensuring high-quality care, guiding clinical teams to make the best possible use of their limited supply and maximize alternative approaches.

“Early identification of at-risk patients can be life-saving, but false alarms create alarm fatigue and waste valuable clinical resources,” noted Deborah Rhodes, MD, principle investigator of the study, chief quality officer, YNHHS and associate dean of quality at Yale School of Medicine.

In clinical testing, AgileMD’s eCART Clinical Deterioration Suite accurately identified high-risk hospitalized patients across conditions, including sepsis, heart failure, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
